Grey-headed Swamphen: is a species of  swamphen  occurring from the Middle East  and the Indian subcontinent to southern  China  and northern  Thailand

Cuckoo: The cuckoo family includes the  common or European cuckoo ,  roadrunners ,  koels ,  malkohas , couas ,  coucals  and  anis . The coucals and anis are sometimes separated as distinct families, the Centropodidae  and  Crotophagidae  respectively

Sri Lankan frogmouths: is a small  frogmouth  found in the  Western Ghats  of south  India  and  Sri Lanka . Related to the  nightjars , it is nocturnal and is found in forest habitats.

Indian Peafowl:  a large and brightly coloured bird, is a  species of  peafowl  native to South Asia, but introduced in many other parts of the world.

കേരളത്തിൽ ദേശാടനക്കിളിയായി എത്തുന്ന കുയിൽ വർഗ്ഗത്തിൽ പെടുന്ന ഒരു പക്ഷിയാണ്  ചെങ്കുയിൽ   . ഇതൊരു ചെറിയ കുയിലാണ്.

വയലേലകളിലും മറ്റും കണ്ടു വരുന്ന മണൽക്കോഴി അല്ലെങ്കിൽ തിത്തിരിപ്പക്ഷി  വർഗ്ഗത്തില്പ്പെട്ട ഒരു ചെറിയ പക്ഷിയാണ് ചെങ്കണ്ണി തിത്തരി  (ചോരക്കണ്ണി തിത്തരി)സംസ്കൃതനാമം: ഉത്പദശയൻ.  അസം ,  മ്യാന്മർ ] എന്നിവിടങ്ങൾക്കു പുറമേ  ഇന്ത്യാ  ഉപഭൂഖണ്ഡത്തിന്റെ പലഭാഗങ്ങളിലും കാണപ്പെടുന്നു.

ശരീരമാകെ കടുത്ത ചെമ്പിച്ച തവിട്ട് നിറമുള്ള  ചെമ്പൻ മരംകൊത്തിയ്ക്ക്    ഉച്ചിപ്പൂ കാണാറില്ല. പുറത്തെ ചിറകുകളിലും വാലിലും അനവധി കറുത്ത വരകൾ കാണാം. പൂവന്റെ കണ്ണിനു താഴെ ചുവന്ന നിറത്തിൽ ഒരു ചന്ദ്രക്കല കാണാം. പെൺപക്ഷിക്കതില്ല. വലിയ മരത്തിലെ ശിഖരങ്ങളിൽ കാണുന്ന ദ്വാരങ്ങളിൽ കറുത്ത  ഉറുമ്പുകളുണ്ടാക്കുന്ന കൂടുകളിലാണ് ഇവ  മുട്ടയിടുന്നത് .
